Kids – Join us at the library for fun crafts and art projects every Wednesday! We may be closed downstairs, but we have created a pop-up Children’s Department upstairs. Stop by for Crafter-Noon on Wednesdays from 3:30-5PM and check out the space! Children of all ages are welcome. Drop in from 3:30-5:00PM. No sign-up required. First come first serve.

Mark your calendar for a brand-new book and poetry group starting October 11! The Classics Book and Poetry Group is a new monthly book group that will be studying classic novels and poetry. For both the budding enthusiast and the delightfully nerdy superfan (the librarians include themselves in this category), this group will introduce classic novelists and poets and discuss selections of their work. Topics will focus primarily on 19th century British and American literature, with forays into literature from other countries/continents, children’s literature, and some modern classics.

On Saturday, October 11, join us at 11AM for a “Book Tea” – bring your own coffee or tea, or we will have some available. Find out what we will be studying in the upcoming months, grab your books for the next session, and meet your fellow bibliophiles!

We’ve been having fun downstairs with Aja the therapy dog. Join us about one Wednesday a month between 5 and 6PM to hang out with our lovely pooch and listen to stories. Drop in, no sign up required. Keep an eye on our event calendar for upcoming dates!
