The Friends of Hudson Falls Free Library help out the library by volunteering and promoting the library within our community.
The Friends of Hudson Falls Free Library meet the first Tuesday of each month from 2 to 3PM. “To me, a Friends group is about patrons joining forces to help the library,” says director Kay Hafner. “We need help with book sales, with fundraising efforts, with spreading the word about what we have to offer. Whatever talents people want to share, we want to have a way for them to participate in making the library that much stronger. A Friends group is the best way to make that happen.” Being a part of the Friends group is not limited to those living in Hudson Falls/Kingsbury.
Our Friends Group helps host our three book sales each year, as well as helps maintain our permanent book sale area throughout the year. Check out our Book Nook any time the library is open!
